One thing that mobile phones and touch screen based video games lack is real button. I just can’t get past the fact you can’t feel the button under your fingers when playing, something you take for granted when you have an actual controller. Well its seems there are people out there that agree with me, and the Chicago startup Joystickers is one of them.

Joystickers have developed three interesting products for touch devices like the iPhone and they are a paint brush stylus, a pen like stylus, and my favorite micro-suction cup video game buttons.

The first two have been done before, but I have never seen something as cool as these micro-suction cup video game buttons they call “The Classic.” Just stick them to a touch screen and when you hit them a little conductive arm hits the screen pushing the button. So now you can feel the button under your fingers even when you ’re on your mobile device.

If you want a set of these you have to make a pledge of $30 to the Joystickers’ Kickstarter campaign. If they make their goal they will go into production. So if you want some make sure to visit their page.

There are hundreds if not thousands of ways to present Salt and Pepper on a table. I think these are probably the coolest salt and pepper shakers I have ever seen. They are cute little robots one white for salt and the other black for pepper. “But I want my salt and pepper robots to move!” oh but they do, just give the little crank a turn and send them waddling over the other side of the table. Perfect for the geek in your family just just for fun. They are a welcome addition to any meal.
