Facebook now allows its users to edit their comments, something I have been wanting for some time now. All you have to do to edit a comment you just made is hit the little ‘x’ in the top right of your comment. If you hit the ‘x’ within the first 10 -60 seconds of posting it the comment will be removed and copied back into the text entry area, where you can edit to your heart’s desire. One catch is if someone posts after you, your comment will be not be editable. Also SMS and emails will still be sent for comments and edited comments.
The feature is simply designed to fix typos, which I do a lot, and comes with a couple other improvements. You can now just hit enter when you are done typing and want to post your comment. To start a new paragraph simply hold shift + enter and it will make a new line for you.
